Preview Friday 4 April 7 - 9pm

Postgraduate Printmakers and Photographers at Bradford School of Arts and Media invite you to join in a celebration of fresh and ongoing work.

Printed matter in all its forms assaults us daily: this show offers a chance to encounter alternative meanings and readings of print in an array of manifestations, foibles and happy accidents on their journey to realisation.

The 'Are We There Yet' exhibition at South Square is a celebration of the talents and commitment of our current postgraduate students. The diversity and quality of the work on display is testament to the ambitions of the exhibiting artists. 'Are We There Yet' also reflects the changing forms and concerns within contemporary fine arts practice and in turn the evolving Master Programmes at Bradford School of Arts & Media. One of the great pleasures (and challenges) for tutors and students contributing to the Masters Programmes, is the need to stay in the game, to constantly evaluate and play with the visual, contextual and conceptual currents of art now. The artists showing here embrace wide ranging, complex and diverse approaches to subjects, aesthetics and media, just as it should be at Masters Level; Confident, informed and of high quality, but still open to question, to provocation and risk.
