Welcome
to the South Square Centre.
South Square
Centre is based within a Grade II Listed building
in the centre
of Thornton Village. Its facilities include gallery
spaces, a small meeting room, a community/ workshop room, a vegetarian
cafe, small business/ retail units and artists' studios.
It successfully
programmes a monthly exhibition within the
Gallery, which has an excellent reputation in the region.
Exhibitions concentrate on contemporary and exploratory
work and recently qualified artists.
It provides
a range of inclusive arts activities, serving
professionals, amateurs and the local community with classes,
projects and workshops as well as special celebratory events.
The Galleries
and cafe are open tues - sun, 12 - 3pm
